On the weekend of November 2&3, “USO Oklahoma” trekked across state lines to Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas to stage a special meal for the families of the 913th Airlift Group.
The USO prepared and served food to over 600 service personnel and their family members. The meal of hot dogs, baked beans and chips was so well attended, it took nearly two hours to serve everyone in attendance.
Caliber Home Loans proudly supported this event by donating to the cost of the food and by sending our Military Engagement Director, Brittany Boccher. She is an Arkansas resident and a military spouse, so for her, this cause was personal.
Local volunteers provided drinks for the event.
This was the second time this year Caliber has been involved with an event supporting military families in Little Rock. Caliber is committed to assisting the USO in many ways, including Operation Gratitude and our annual Military May program.
