Caliber Home Loans, Inc. Helps Rescue the Living Room of a Military Family

Caliber Home Loans, Inc. enlisted the help of employees from all over Texas to join forces with the host and television crew of Moving with the Military to welcome home an Air Force veteran in style! Caliber Home Loans, Inc. team members drove from Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Killeen, TX and worked for two days to make a living room makeover possible for one veteran and his family near Fort Hood.

Redecorating. Refinishing. Rescuing each other.

Kaley and Dakota are such a special military family. They are always looking for ways to help, and saving dogs is their passion. They rescued not 1 or 2, but 4 dogs. Dakota and Kaley believe in giving animals a second chance and the opportunity to bring healing to a home. Dakota says of his foster dog after returning home from a deployment, “I thought I was rescuing a dog when the dog actually rescued me.” After fostering dozens of dogs in recent years, this family was in need of a new couch and living room furniture. As part of the home makeover, the family received a new couch, table, curtains, furniture to store dog toys and framed photos of foster dogs, both past and present. Now settled in their forever home, the dogs have learned their boundaries, and the family can regain their living space!
