On February 29, 2020 the Scott Spouses Club of Scott AFB hosted their annual scholarship fundraiser event, and Caliber Home Loans, Inc. was the title sponsor. This year’s fundraiser had a trivia night theme “Game On” and was attended by 250 people at the nearby Katy Cavins Community Center in O’Fallon, Illinois. Attendees took the theme to a new level, dressing up as their favorite board game.
Many came to play that night, but the real winners are the military family members who will benefit from the scholarship money the Scott Spouses Club raised at trivia night. A silent auction, bake sale, games, and 10 rounds of trivia all raised money for the Scott Spouses Club’s scholarship fund, which contributes to military dependents’ higher education. For this reason, we were proud to donate $3,000 towards the Scott Spouses Club scholarships. The evening was the Club’s most successful fundraiser to-date, raising $14,000 and contributing to the higher education of more military family members than ever before.
The Scott Spouses Club’s mission is “Have Fun. Make Friends. Give Back.” There’s no question that this year’s trivia night fundraiser achieved all three.
