The presenters and topics included:

  • Consolidated Credit on credit as an asset/business credit
  • Yankwitt Law Firm on business/organization structuring
  • United Way/Mission United staff on inspections, appraisal and VA rental assistance programs administered through Mission United’s annual VA grant
  • Legal Aid Service of Broward County on the Mission United Pro Bono program and Legal Aid Service Small Business Program, as well as fair housing and landlord/tenant legal issues
  • Morgan Realty on purchasing a multi-unit property vs a single family property
  • The various options and strategies available to the savvy veteran investor

The event was held at Broward College North Campus and was attended by over 20 prospective borrowers. Among the attendees were a few first time buyer veterans who were seeking to buy a 3-4 unit investment property with a VA loan.
